The Day & Night cream from the "Tre Ori" line by Ardes contains a combination of active ingredients designed to restructure the skin of the face and neck, to be used interchangeably for both day and night.
The first of its components is jojoba oil, a liquid wax produced by pressing the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis, which has revitalizing, regenerating, and soothing properties on the skin, preventing wrinkles. Its great ability to penetrate through the small pores of the epidermis gives this oil an excellent moisturizing action.
Argan oil, also contained in the mixture, is extracted from the fruit of the tree of the same name, native to Morocco. A rare and precious active ingredient, it represents a natural source of unsaturated acids and vitamins A, E, and F, which give it moisturizing, nourishing, and protective properties against external aggressions and free radicals.
Babassu oil is extracted from the fruits of a palm native to Brazil and is used to keep the skin smooth and velvety. It is rich in fatty acids and phytosterols that improve the hydrolipidic barrier, nourishing and providing elasticity to the skin. The presence of natural antioxidants makes it an excellent aid in countering the action of free radicals.
The rosehip oil, which enhances the formulation of the cream, is extracted from the seeds of a wild rose variety that grows in a limited mountainous area of Chile.
It is used to protect the skin. It contains a high percentage of polyunsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic, linolenic) that provide emollient, moisturizing, and elasticizing action to the formulation.
Hyaluronic acid, thanks to which wrinkles and imperfections will be smoothed and plumped, is found in a gel state at the dermis level and forms what is called an amorphous matrix. In this matrix, the proteins that, together with hyaluronic acid, give the skin its characteristic elastic response, thanks to elastin, and mechanical support, thanks to collagen, are dispersed.
